I love this crochet roll - the linen flower print in orange is so happy and beautiful, and the case itself is very sturdy and well-made. I'm glad that I'm able to wrangle my hooks in style!
I guess I'm partial because I adore this color of red, but this is a brilliant design to keep all of my crochet hooks organized. The pockets are big enough for ergo handles and are marked with sizes for easy hook grabbing. Also the elastic and button closure are easy to use and keep every thing safe.
I have been looking for something nicely hold my furls hooks! This fits them and a ton of other hooks beautifully. Has the hook sizes on each pocket plus a few blank spots for oddball hooks, or scissors! Folds nicely, love ther fabric! Best case I have owned, and I have owned some nice hook cases!
I've got three of these Della Q items, including the circular and DPN needle cases as well as this crochet roll, all in the Ocean color. Of the three, the crochet roll is the most useful and easy to use. When unrolled, there are marked spaces for every hook size B through N including 4.5, with unmarked spaces at the beginning and the end. I keep all my extra small stainless hooks together in one slot at the beginning. The slots are just the right size for me to store both my plastic-handled Clover hooks and the same size Susan Bates hooks in the same slot.
The way it rolls, the smaller sizes are the most inside when you roll it up to store it, which is great if you're worried about them falling out without you noticing. There's also a top flap that folds over the hooks which keeps them safe and secure. The ties at the end are long enough that you can wrap them around the roll twice and still have just enough to make a standard bow knot to secure it. Because of the silky material, you can even tie a simple square knot and not worry about it getting too tight to untie.
