Gusto Wool Patterns

Constructed of brioche stiches, Flicker gives the illusion it is worked with 2-color stranded colorwork, but uses a half solid, half speckled, planned pooling engineered yarn. Inspired by flickering lights, slipped stitches help show or hide the colors dancing and flickering within a transversal pattern. It is a unique design which may end up with a different transversal pattern, depending on the gauge and colorway used.

Moire Cowl takes advantage of Carmen's half-and-half speckle and solid, achieving a 2-color brioche look with only one skein. Columns of brioche rib in reverse colors flow into each other, creating wavy color pooling effects in the middle. Lines of syncopated stitches add subtle texture every few rows.

Multiple rounds of textured stitches whirl around this simple cowl, inspired by the porphyry marble Column of Constantine near Istanbul's Grand Bazaar. "Cemberli" means "circled" in Turkish, it is spelled phonetically here for the cowl name!

Edgewise Hat, named after its sideways construction is a crochet take on a classic ribbed beanie. Using simple slip and half double crochet stitches worked into back loops creates a stretchy, lofty rib. The crown shaped with short rows creates a clean, sleek shape. Can be worn slightly slouchy, or brimmed.
