Yellowcosmo has put together just two different colors of Madelinetosh Sport to beautiful effect in this fun to knit shawl! This piece begins at the tip with just two stitches and is knit on the bias in an easy to remember texture stitch pattern. You'll be dying to get to the end where you can delight in a graphic colorwork pattern for awhile. Finally, enjoy a picot bind-off in the contrasting color for a delicate end to a most entertaining project!

First Note really does convey a melody from the gently curving shape down to the lyrical lace border. This georgeous shawl is knit from the top down beginning with just a few stitches, and finishes off with some fun lace!

This pattern requires 485 yds of fingering weight yarn, and these requirements will vary depending on your gauge. Some folks have had success with just a single 100g skein, others have needed to dip into a second skein. Feeling lucky?

A wisp of a thing, this delicate crescent shawl takes just one skein of sock yarn! It's knit in stockinette stitch from the top down to the lace border, where the patterning occurs on right side rows only. The lace pattern is both written and charted.
