Excellent for traveling. Keeps everything you need in one place. Only negative.. I wish there was a magnet in the top so my needles were readily accessible.
Did not buy this as a needle or yarn holder so am very satisfied with it for holding the extras that you need while knitting ,scissors, tape measures gauges, markers. glasses. pen or pencil, etc. It works very well and stands nicely. Now to order the hanging circular needle case.

A function Needle Case with a Unique Design! (5 out of 5)
This needle case is exactly what I needed to hold and carry my needles. I especially like the magnets that connect each end so that this case stands when it is opened, allowing the needles and notions that are in the case to be easily accessible. I liked this case so much I bought one for my daughter, too!
