I was shocked by the size small but that is my fault for not reviewing size before purchase. However, that said, I love it! It is perfect travel size for sock projects or small shawl. Well made, cute fabric, nice leather strap. Can I say, purchasing from Jimmy Beans first time was a nice experience and made me want to buy again.
I actually have two of these bags, the pink one and there sunset with stripes!
This bag fits a cake of yarn and whatever you can make from one cake of yarn!
The best part is the side pocket! Makes all the difference to have a wide deep pocket on the side so you n carry more than just yarn with you in a small bag. I have a huge phone, and it fits in the pocket!!!

I also bought a cotton drawstring bag from here, the exact size of my rosemary! It gives me the option to add a drawstring to protect my project if I need to!

This is the cutest bag. I love the color I chose, the other colors were very nice too. I like the shape and the leather handles. The pocket. Very nice quality bag.
I have been using a pottery yarn bowl for my knitting. I have decide to use a portable knitting bag for socks alone. It is made really nice, I love the fact that the top sort of goes in so yarn does not fall out, or other items easily. Also, the outside pocket is large enough to hold a tape measure, stitch markers etc. I love the fact, if I want to knit in another room that I can just grab this and go with no problems.
Great size and shape for a project like socks! I can fit two balls of yarn in one case, plus the SIP. I have three that I use regularly because they are so well conceived and pretty. My only regret is that they do not thrive when a bit of cappuccino foam hits the fabric. My fault, not the maker's.
