Romance is One of the Best YARN Bookazines (5 out of 5)
The Beatrix Blanket is one of the best patterns in Romance and the other patterns are delightful too. You'll find beautiful crochet and knit patterns along with articles about artists, their muses, and current Sheepjes designers.
I have done 2 Ophelia sweaters already and working on an Eaton Top. Just always remember these are written in UK terms. I like that they have charts as well as written patterns I often switch between the two.
If you already love Scheepjes or have just discovered it these bookazines are for you. Each issue has a very distinct theme No. 3 is sea creature You get the latest tool reviews, designer insights and best of all patterns, which makes it well worth the price.
This is my second Scheepjes Bookazine and I love it!
One note, the photo of the Leaves scarf the one when it is not being worn has a color effect or filter on it. The yarn is brighter than that photo suggests. An experienced user of Scheepjes Stone Washed would probably pick that up quickly.
I really enjoy looking at this bookazine. If I am buying yarn and a copy is available I order it. Wish I could get it delivered to my door each month. It is a bit pricey, but a fun splurge.
