KnitPro Karbonz Single Point Needles - US 1 (2.25mm) - 10" Needles Reviews

I got these because they didn’t have wooden one this small 1. They work great an I don have to worry about sitting or leaning on them. That’s how I usually break my smaller needles.

Tips are not quite as sharp as my circulars, but the difference is minimal. Will be comfortable using these for my Shetland Stars shawl.

I wish these straight needles came in 9” length

I was knitting a scarf with sized 2 KP Dreamz straight needles, but wanted needles that would allow me to pick up more speed without being too slippery. The Karbonz fit the fill perfectly with their metal tips and carbon fiber body metal tips for speed and carbon fiber body that hugs the yarn to avoid slippage.

Beautiful needles to use. Worth the money.

I loved these needles but unfortunately I ran into a problem with them. I ordered them in two different sizes and was very pleased with them at first. I knit a handful of lace washcloths with each pair but then I ran into a problem. The two needles rubbing together during my knitting has created a groove on each needle just behind the silver tip. The groove has gotten deep enough that my yarn catches on it each time I knit a stitch. I had to switch to a different set of needles as these were getting too frustrating to work with because of my yarn getting caught all the time. Maybe my style of knitting causes the needles to grind down and other knitters won't have this problem. It is a shame because I really enjoyed working with these needles but I would not buy them again because of this problem.

These needles are favorites of professional knitters. The points a quick and the shaft has a little traction-plus-they don't break easily.
